– Schedule: October 1, Thursday between 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM IST.
– Time control: Short Rapid 10 minutes each with 5 seconds increment.
– Guest Players: GM Priyadharshan & IM Muthaiah
– Where: On Lichess.
– Can I Join: Tournament is free for selected & invited players. For others, there will be an entry fee of 100
INR (or $1.5) applicable.

Aspire Chess Center, is a chess club based in Pondicherry, a coastal city in southern India. We organize frequent tournament opportunities for our community of young, developing players in a format that is conducive for learning. In Aspire Practice Arena, we also invite strong titled players to make the event stronger and competitive. You can find our tournament calendar here.
– Prizes? Our philosophy is to try to avoid prize money becoming a motivation for kids at a young age. So, we have invitations to special tournaments & chess ebooks as prizes, especially to players who score against the guest players!
