June 24: Practice Tournament

Theory and Practice are like the two wings of a bird. This week, apart from the regular classes, we scheduled a free practice tournament at our Anna Nagar space for players to get better at long control games. Moreover, the Under 11 Pondicherry State Chess tournament is scheduled in a few days, so we thought it would be useful for the students. Here are some photos and updates!

The tournament is also special for another reason. The event was planned only two days back and received only a few entries, but eventually we succeeded in organizing Aspire Chess Center’s first ever tournament 🙂

Our next tournament is scheduled on the 8th of July, 2018. More information can be found in this link.
